چکیده
The traditional manufacturing industry has been revolutionized with the introduction of additive which is based on layer-by-layer manufacturing. Due to these tool-free techniques, complex shape becomes much more convenient in comparison machining. However, comes its inherent process characteristics high surface roughness, turn effect fatigue strength as well residual stresses. Therefore, this paper, common post-processing techniques for manufactured (AM) parts were examined. main objective was analyze finishing processes terms their ability finish complicated surfaces and performance expressed average roughness (Sa Ra). divided according materials they applied material removal mechanism. It found that chemical significantly reduces can be used geometry. Laser finishing, other hand, cannot intricate internal surfaces. Among mechanical abrasion methods, abrasive flow shows optimum results freeform cavities improved accuracy both polymer metal parts. it that, general, most lack Moreover, although methods are conducted using single processes, AM finished hybrid successive reap benefits different overcome limitation individual process.

Additive Manufacturing: Reproducibility of Metallic Parts
The present study deals with the properties of five different metals/alloys (Al-12Si, Cu-10Sn and 316L—face centered cubic structure, CoCrMo and commercially pure Ti (CP-Ti)—hexagonal closed packed structure) fabricated by selective laser melting. The room temperature tensile properties of Al-12Si samples show good consistency in results within the experimental errors. Similar reproducible resu...

In this paper the joinability of titanium Additive Manufactured (AM) parts is explored. Keyhole welding, using a pulsed laser beam, of conventionally produced parts is compared to AM parts. Metal AM parts are notorious for having remaining porosities and other non-isotropic properties due to the layered manufacturing process. This study shows that due to these deficiencies more energy per unit ...

The scope of this review is to investigate the main post-process optical form measurement technologies available in industry today and to determine whether they are applicable to industrial-grade metal additive manufactured parts. An in-depth review of the operation of optical three-dimensional form measurement technologies applicable to metal additive manufacturing is presented, with a focus o...
متن کاملCharacterization of Additive Manufactured Objects
Hybrid Layered Manufacturing (HLM) combines the benefits of both subtractive and Additive Manufacturing (AM). In this paper authors did characterization of AM components by using Kernel Average Misorientation (KAM), Electron Backscatter Diffraction (EBSD) and hardness tester. The main focus is on matrix integrity during Gas Metal Arc Welding (GMAW) deposition and surface quality during machinin...
